Bluware Technology is Now Available on AWS Marketplace
HOUSTON, TX – July 26, 2021 – The Bluware platform that enables the energy industry to accelerate digital transformation initiatives and adopt cloud computing for subsurface data is now available to customers on AWS Marketplace, a digital catalog with thousands of software listings from independent software vendors that make it easy to find, test, buy, and deploy software that runs on AWS.
“Bluware technology on the AWS Marketplace will enable customers to easily utilize Bluware’s innovative solutions from anywhere, anytime to integrate into their subsurface workflows making then simpler, faster, and more cost efficient than ever before,” Dan Piette, CEO at Bluware noted.
Companies using AWS can leverage Bluware VDS™ cloud-native data for significant cost savings because they can now stream subsurface data on Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) into the seismic interpretation format required for their workflows using Bluware FAST™ thereby eliminating disk costs while accessing all data from a centralized repository.
In addition, AWS is empowering high-performance workflows like Bluware InteractivAI™ deep learning which is empowering geoscientists to interactively interpret subsurface features in real-time. InteractivAI’s cloud-centric architecture is built for an Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) environment that can handle these GPU-heavy tasks.
“Bluware and AWS are addressing the longstanding challenge for customers to securely and reliably access subsurface data on a global scale,” noted Piette.
Bluware is a part of The AWS Seismic Workflow Optimization solution to standardize how seismic data is stored and accessed through the OSDU Data Platform as OpenVDS, an open source API to access VDS.
