Phoebe Wang Joins Bluware Board of Directors
HOUSTON, TX – December 21, 2021 – Bluware is pleased to announce Phoebe Wang as the newest member of our Board of Directors.
Phoebe currently serves as a Principal at Shell Ventures and chairs the Early Stage Investment Committee.
Phoebe has more than a decade of experience as a venture capital investor in energy and climate technology. She focuses on investments of both early and growth stage in mobility, enterprise software, hydrogen, carbon management, power, and any other technology for the energy transition. Previously, she was an ex-entrepreneur and built a start-up in technology commercialization. Wang has invested in more than 20 frontier technology startups such as ZeroAvia, Antora, Celadyne, South 8 Technologies, Connected Freight, and many others.
Phoebe has a Master of Business Administration in Energy and Finance from Rice University. In addition, she sits on the Rice Alliance Energy Advisory Board and is a charter holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) Program. She studied Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and completed executive studies at Harvard University, Tsinghua University, UC Berkeley, and UCLA.
Phoebe is a frequent guest lecturer at Brandeis University, UC Berkeley, MIT, and Rice University. In her free time, she enjoys reading, working out, and meditation.
