Partnerships
Support for Bluware continues to grow as the frustration with closed technology and disparate applications increases. Learn more about our strategic investors, partners, and alliances.
OPEN SUBSURFACE DATA UNIVERSE (OSDU)
The Open Subsurface Data Universe™ (OSDU) Forum consists of large oil and gas operators and service organizations focused on developing a standard data platform that will bring together exploration, development, and wells data. This will result in faster delivery of capabilities, and lower implementation and lifecycle costs across the subsurface community. Bluware has contributed OpenVDS to the OSDU and has been adopted as a format for seismic data by OSDU. This ensures a true openness and scalability for the VDS file system.
AMAZON WEB SERVICES (AWS)
Bluware is an advanced technology partner of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and one of only 12 oil and gas partners currently. AWS is a secure cloud services platform, offering compute power, database storage, content delivery, and other functionality to help businesses like Bluware leverage AWS cloud products and solutions to build sophisticated applications with increased flexibility, scalability, and reliability.
MICROSOFT AZURE
Bluware has a strategic partnership with Microsoft® Azure, a secure cloud services platform offering compute power, database storage, content delivery and other services which help organizations improve critical business workflows. With a commitment to open source and support for all languages and frameworks, Azure allows oil and gas companies to build and deploy applications and workflows seamlessly with Bluware technology. Customers can integrate and manage their environments with services designed for cloud, on premises, and hybrid cloud.
Eliis
Bluware is partnered with Eliis, an international software leader in seismic interpretation. The two companies enable seismic interpreters who use PaleoScan™ to drastically reduce interpretation cycle time. Bluware VDS is integrated into Eliis PaleoScan, a new generation of seismic interpretation software, which combines innovative technology, computer-aided workflows, and intuitive design to rapidly enhance geological understanding throughout seismic data.
AspenTech
Paradigm, an AspenTech™ product enables end users to rapidly manipulate large seismic volumes while maintaining seismic precision and reducing data storage costs. This capability is implemented natively within the Paradigm interpretation suite, allowing users to seamlessly analyze their data.
In addition, Roxar, an AspenTech product, includes seismic-based stochastic inversion, tools for import, attributes, visualization, and sampling of seismic to 3D grids for further use in the geological modeling workflow. With model driven interpretation, you can capture uncertainty throughout the interpretation process quickly, generate multiple realizations, and build accurate and robust reservoir models to make better reservoir management decisions.
Halliburton
Halliburton Landmark DecisionSpace® 365 solution provides dynamic end-to-end workflows to help you characterize the subsurface with clarity. The solution is powered by iEnergy®, the E&P industry’s first dedicated hybrid cloud. The Geosciences Suite includes the unique Seismic Engine application that enables you to accelerate seismic attribute processing on volumes of any size by leveraging the cloud’s elastic scalability. Halliburton Landmark offers not only a powerful geophysics workbench and the latest machine learning-based interpretation algorithms, but also enhanced data connectivity solutions via OpenVDS™ seismic data format. This integration delivers on Halliburton Landmark and Bluware’s commitment to the OSDU™ Data Platform by providing geoscience technology access to seismic data available via a shared OSDU cloud environment.
IESBRAZIL
IesBrazil provides advanced data management solutions and is the exclusive reseller of Bluware products in Brazil. The organization offers a portfolio of technology solutions for the oil and gas industry including business development services in the Brazilian market.
Interactive Network Technologies, Inc. (INT)
Interactive Network Technologies, Inc. (INT), a leader in multi-domain visualization in E&P is a partner of Bluware to offer Volume Data Store (VDS) seismic data format as part of the Open Subsurface Data Universe (OSDU). INT and Bluware integrated VDS into IVAAP, an upstream data visualization platform so companies can leverage the IVAAP platform by customizing and deploying it in any cloud environment.
NVIDIA
Bluware and NVIDIA, along with Calgary Scientific, Lenovo, and Magma, developed a solution architecture to enable geoscientists to perform graphics and processing intensive tasks on their desktop computers, laptops or mobile devices with all of the data storage and real-time processing carried out on the cloud. This can include processing raw seismic data, interpreting, modeling, and running simulations. The solution supports challenging scenarios related to interactivity, scalability, data management, and performance and enables geoscientists to access cloud applications on mobile devices.
Shearwater
Shearwater GeoServices is a global provider of powerful geophysical marine seismic acquisition and processing services from sensor to image, including software. The two companies enable geophysicists who use Reveal software to natively read and write to The Open Group OSDU™ Data Platform compliant Bluware VDS™ format, including options for GPU acceleration. Bluware VDS is integrated into Reveal, a software that provides time and depth processing and imaging for both marine and land environments from within a single user interface. Reveal is used for a full range of seismic processing and imaging needs including oil and gas exploration and production (E&P), carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS), site identification and monitoring, and other energy transition applications.
Wipro
Bluware collaborates with Wipro Limited, (NYSE: WIT, BSE: 507685, NSE: WIPRO) a leading global information technology, consulting, and business process services company, to enable mass ingestion of SEG-Y data from tapes and data centers to Bluware OpenVDS™ on the cloud on the OSDU™ Data Platform.
These companies are providing an ingestion pipeline for oil and gas companies to extract seismic data from archive, store it on the cloud, and exploit it for immediate value. This new end-to-end solution ingests, inspects, and converts data to OpenVDS on to cloud storage or an OSDU repository. Geoscience teams can derive immediate value through automatic integration with existing applications, while data managers and scientists can easily incorporate the data into their respective environments using APIs.
